The motor vehicle industry, which we use as an example, has installed a variety of Marco Lifting Table models with different configurations of scissors beneath the tables. Each chosen configuration is dependent on the application for which the table is being used.

Single scissor tables with pallet sized table tops are suitable for small sized heavyloads.

Much larger tables, up to 6 meters long, have proved suitable for high level lifting of whole car chassis on a cradle to various conveyor systems at higher levels.

Two High Lift tables, with two scissors each above each other, has recently been installed in a motor vehicle production line to lift and lower car chassis between conveyors at different levels, over 3 meters apart. The small amount of space available dictated that this high lift configuration was specified as a single scissor option would have required more horizontal space.

On long narrow tables Twin Scissors are specified with the two single scissor mechanisms sitting side by side under the same tabletop. This model has been installed in motor plants to lift personel up and down below a vehicle, at the end of the production process for inspection purposes or for minor adjustments to under car parts or for wheel alignment.

We have described some installations related to the motor vehicle manufacturing industry but there is no limit to the number of tasks these tables can be applied to where heavy or bulky loads need to be lifted safely and regularly.
